Life Balance and My TV Interview

Work/life balance is a meaningless term.

We are more complex than those two halves. This binary term is even more meaningless today as millions of people work from home.

So, what does work? Glad you asked.

My model of how to live a fulfilling and joyful life is realistic, flexible, works for everyone, and changes as we go through different life stages. Ready?

Whole Life Balance©, a far more accurate construct, is based on living your values in five areas.

  1. Relationships. Identify those relationships that are most important and be sure you’re connecting with those people regularly.

  2. Intellectual. Always be learning and growing. Your job provides a lot but not all of this.

  3. Spiritual. Actively care about the world beyond your own.

  4. Physical. Take good care of yourself from head to toe.

  5. Creativity. Engage in creative outlets for fun, to think broader, be a more creative problem solver, and reduce stress. The magic of Whole Life Balance© is it’s not just a construct, but a map to how to finally achieve balance.

The beauty of Whole Life Balance © is you can combine two or more of these values simultaneously. For example, you can listen to an audiobook while walking (Intellectual & Physical) or bake cookies with your kids (Relationships & Creativity).

These five parts make up the WHOLE of all of us.

There’s a lot more to learn about this model. Now you can learn more by watching my recent 30 minutes TV interview on Whole Life Balance© Go to https://www.phyllislevinson.com/workshops and scroll down to interview.

As always, let me know if you have any questions.
